This Week's Q & A!     27/07/2010

This Friday sees the anticipated return of two stalwarts of the trance scene. MATT HARDWICK of course will always be associated with the global phenomenon that is Gatecrasher. However a lesser known fact, he used to play football for Sheffield Wednesday. But while their fortunes on the pitch continue to suffer, Hardwick is carving out a bit of a name for himself – spreading his infectious sound worldwide. It is pure trance, plain and simple. Sets which never fail to provide those classic moments, that clubbers remember for a lifetime.

SEAN TYAS needs no introduction to The Gallery, making his London debut at sister night Vaccine. ‘Lift’ was a mainstay in The Viceroy closing sets of old and his sets, always rock the box big time! The Tyas formula is always the same, mesmeric chords in his productions – all combined in club performances with unrivalled energy and passion.

RUSSIA RESIDENCY     21/07/2010
THE GALLERY ANNOUNCES RESIDENCY AT GAUDI CLUB, MOSCOW, RUSSIA

The Gallery continues to set the standards other club nights aspire to follow as it enters its 15th year. One of the few remaining weekly club nights to have survived the test of time, The Gallery continues to fly the dance music flag in the capital of England, welcoming the biggest and best DJs from across the globe. Moving from its legendary home Turnmills in 2008 to the world famous Ministry of Sound, The Gallery continues to bring the biggest DJs and best up and coming talent from the worlds of trance, tech and house.

The likes of Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Above and  Beyond, Hernan Cattaneo, Timo Maas, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren have played regularly or debuted at The Gallery and in its 15th year has an international array of residents including Markus Schulz, Sander van Doorn, Hernan Cattaneo and Martin Roth whilst its domestic residents team includes head honcho Tall Paul, Judge Jules, Sister Bliss, Gavyn Mytchel and The Viceroy

No stranger to leaving its beloved London, The Gallery has over the years toured every continent and recreated The Gallery vibe at some of the worlds biggest and best clubs and festivals . One city that has always been truly memorable down the years has been Moscow and 2010 sees The Gallery return to the capital of Russia to one of our favourite venues, the legendary Gaudi club. With a familiar Turnmills feel to the club we have thrown some amazing parties over the years working alongside Yury Marychev and his team. To be returning on a monthly basis promises to be very special indeed and we are hard at work bringing some of our favourite guests and residents tried and tested at The Gallery here in London to rock Moscow

FERRY CORSTEN!!!     15/07/2010

Part of Ministry of Sound's birthday weekend...

The Gallery
Friday 17th September
----------------------------------------------
Ferry Corsten (4 Hours) & Solarstone

Kick starting Ministry of Sound’s 19th Birthday weekend with an almighty bang, The Gallery is proud to welcome back one of its favourite DJs, Dutch trance sensation FERRY CORSTEN.

Launching his brand new ‘Once Upon a Night’ compilation (Vol 2), Ferry will be taking to the hallowed decks of the world famous Box - for a very special extended four hour set. This year has seen Ferry continue to tour the globe as well as re-release easily one of the most impressive back catalogues in trance, with his unique ‘FC System F’ idea. Opening up all of his discography to anyone and everyone to remix, Ferry then picked and released the very best entrants - once again leading the way with supporting new talent and striking out into new ground with this concept. Once Upon a Night (Vol 1) once again set the standard for other compilations, featuring a whole host of exclusive material and hit the dizzy heights of Number 1 in the USA on ‘I Tunes!’

Ferry continues to be one of those DJs for which superlatives are in short supply. An ever expanding, genre pushing production style and sound, has seen Ferry supply anthem after anthem down the years - consistently redefining and leading the trance sound. Whether it be through classics such as ‘Out of the Blue,’ or tech fused trance bombs such as ‘Rock Ur Body Rock.’

Joining the Dutch man is none other than the UK’s very own Solarstone, who impressed on his last visit to The Gallery and continues to tour the globe - as well as produce a critically acclaimed podcast and a whole host of big tunes along the way!

We have a very limited number of £10 tickets for the first 200 people – grab yours at:
